Students, faculty, and administrators celebrated the newly named PS Academy in Gilbert and PS Elementary in Mesa! Seniors were excited to officially announce PS Academy with an unveiling ceremony!

Research Shows that Autism is Less Obvious in Girls
It’s been proven that boys are 4.5 times more likely to have autism. But new research shows that the gender gap in people with autism may not be as wide as we previously thought. A study shows that autism may not be as easily detected in females than it is in males.

What To Do If Your Teen With Special Needs Is Getting Bullied
You may already know that a teen with special needs is more likely to get bullied. In fact, teens with physical, developmental, intellectual, emotional, and sensory disabilities—are at an increased risk of being bullied. Those with disabilities were two to three times more likely to be bullied than their nondisabled peers.

The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) Explained
If you’re a parent of a student with autism or other exceptionalities, you may be familiar with the term ESA (Education Savings Account.) This is government-authorized savings account which essentially works as a debit card which parents can use to pay for their student’s education. A portion of Arizona taxpayer dollars are allocated to ESA’s, helping parents of students with disabilities cover services approved by the state government, including private school tuition, fees and more.
